I was born and raised in Birmingham, Handsworth, brought up by very traditional Indian parents who don‘t really understand the dance world.  I am the youngest of three, I became a big Michael Jackson fan at the age of 15 and haven’t stopped dancing since.

I am self-taught, from watching Michael Jackson videos in the early days, I copied and imitated as best as I could until I started creating my own ideas and own dance style.  I love dancing more than anything in my life, I just love to create new ideas I wish I could do it all day.

My biggest inspiration is of course M.J, it is the reason why I discovered dance so I have a lot of respect for him, his art, and his character.  The Les Twins, Bboy Cloud, James Brown, Gene Kelly and The Nicholas brothers are also huge dance inspirations.  It drives me to achieve something in my life because of these people, they have achieved so much so why can‘t I?, my goal is just simply to be the best dancer I can possibly be, to be ‘poetry in motion’.
