Benjamin Blake aka Bb-Bio
I am a recording artist from Birmingham. I’ve have lived in the South of Birmingham all my life, with my Mom and Brothers. I am heavily influenced by the Grime Scene and have decided to follow a career within music; my inspirations are So Solid Crew, Kano, The Mitchel Brothers, P Money & Duurty Goods.
I have been writing and recording music since 2006, I have got a catalogue of tracks and its nice sometimes to sit and listen back to my old material, it is nice to hear how far I have come. However, last year I made a decision to ‘make things happen’; I stepped my game up, recorded a single and a video and thought I really want to do this as my career. Making the music that I enjoy and being a fan of the artists that have a similar style, I hope that I can be like them one day. Inspirational quote:
“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small people that are too comfortable to live in the world that they’ve been given, rather than use the power that they have to change it. This quote inspires me to pursue my goals I’ve only heard it once and it has stayed with me. I don’t want to change the world with my music but I do want my music to be in the world. In the Future I hope to carry on recording, carry on releasing singles, find a ‘good’ manager, tour and do regular performances & ultimately become a success.
