Essence are an up-and-coming duo located in Birmingham. Sisters Becky and Josie Okeghie have been singing and songwriting together since their early teens. They have taken part in events and talent shows across the UK.
Essence are currently writing, producing and recording a collection of original songs for the release of their début EP coming out this year. Essence will also be making appearances at a number of venues across the West Midlands to showcase their live music. Essence continue to post regular music videos on-line, whilst progressing with their song writing, developing their craft further by working with other independent UK artists and musicians.
Ultimately, Essence want to be recognised for their musical artistry and creativity. In the not too distant future, Essence aspire to record an LP album and perform their songs across the UK and beyond.
